Technical professionals who support small Cisco networks can earn CCNA certification from Novell to become a Cisco Certified Network Associate. The CCNA certification validates that the associate has a particular level of knowledge and expertise in networking for the small office/home office market.

The CCNA certification indicates a foundation in and apprentice knowledge of networking for the small office/home office (SOHO) market. Typical CCNA candidates are technical professionals seeking creditials, individuals who are new to networking, or those who are retraining. CCNAs will be best suited for positions like help desk engineer, field technician, level 1 systems engineer, and level 1 systems integrator.
