This series shows learners how to design, create, test, and submit an application that meets the standards for the programming assignment portion of Sun's Java 2 Developer certification. It also explains the format and objectives of the essay exam portion of the Java 2 Developer certification.

This series is for experienced Java programmers who are preparing for the programming assignment component (CX-310-252a) of the Sun Certified Developer for the Java 2 Platform certification.
